Introduction
Although Conner did a great job of all the revelations of God, from his nature, conscience, history, miracles, prophecy, Christ, scripture to personal experience, I felt he left out two of the most important revelations of all, the soul of man, and the Holy Spirit!
Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. The Bible states clearly that we are given a conscience to judge good from bad, evil from righteousness, but no where does it contribute a conscience to the revelation of God.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Matt: 16:17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my father in heaven.
1 Cor. 2:10 but God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit.
Only God can reveal God, man cannot know him, unless God reveals himself to him. God uses his creation, the bible, prophecy, Christ and miracles, but it is the Holy Spirit who reveals the truth and great mystery of God. The cross and only the cross through the blood of Jesus, can man know the truth and only by faith is he saved on to salvation.
God’s Creation is His Witness
I remember being in the 2nd grade at Saint Catherine’s Catholic school, when I asked one of the sisters, how do we know if there is a God? She smiled and said, “Look around at the beautiful trees in all their color, and sky, and ask yourself how that happened, who design it?” That witness stayed with me all my life.
Creation reveals that there is a God but does not bring man into contact with him. Connor.
The Bible and Scripture is the Word of God
It was 20 years later, while living in Florida, I finally found God. My children invited a Baptist Minister to our home without me knowing about it. He shared the scripture John 14:6 Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no man come to the Father but by me. He left me a Bible to read. That night I went to bed early, my mind could not rest, and I suddenly sat up in bed and shook my fist at heaven, yelling who are you, where are you, if you are God, why did you leave us here all alone. The Holy Spirit was at work and God’s word was now in my heart.
Three months went by and one night I read this scripture out of a magazine, I am ashamed to say I was loaded on marijuana that night, and when I read, “This gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness unto every nation and then shall the end come.” Matt 24:14. Suddenly the whole room lit up like a bright light, both my wife and I were shaking in fear, we were both instantly sobered, and immediately flushed down the toilet all of the dope and cigarettes. We asked each other who was that, what was that? An angel, God, a spirit? we were scared.
The next morning when we woke, we felt different like our whole world was washed clean. My wife went to the store and a book grew large in her eyes, “Jesus Stopped By.”
God speaks to Us with Visions and Dreams
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and young men shall see visions.
Two weeks later I attended an Executive School on Leadership and took the Bible the minister gave to me to read. I must make this short, so the vision I had was seeing Christ before Pontius Pilate, being abused, spit on, bleeding, crown of thorns being beaten on this head, and the humility he was taking brought me to tears. I felt a presence and saw a vision as real as if I was living it. I looked up to heaven and saw thousands of angered angels with pain on their faces looking down as if they wanted to descend. I cried out why are you allowing this if you are the Son of God, to which he replied, “because I love you.” My life was changed in an instant, I then knew the price he paid for my salvation and that he was really the Son of God!
Conclusion
In conclusion, I was spoken to audibly out of heaven, “I have called you to fight evil, there will be to plane trips, I will send you and bring you back.” I sold my home two weeks later and was on a plane to England, not sure what I was doing. I arrived and prayed and fasted for two weeks. I took the Bible the minister gave me and started reading immediately when I arrived. Not knowing any church or other Christians, I was all alone and as I read the scriptures, I would ask the Holy Spirit what it meant. I would hear is voice teach and explain it to me as if he was sitting next to me. The revelations I received caused me to grow in his knowledge and strength and to know the Holy Spirit and to trust Him. Then He sent me to Durham, and on a Cobblestone bridge, in the early morning, I lifted my bible and preached on the second coming of Christ. People gathered and He sent me music ministers and helpers. From that time onward, he sent me to preach from town to town, park to park, and to see people saved, healed, filled with the Holy Spirit, and called to ministry. Glory to God!
John 16:8-14 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement: of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to my Father and ye see me no more; of judgement, because the prince of this world is judged. I have many things to say to you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit then he the spirit of truth is come he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall shew it unto you.
God is preparing his church, His people to rise up and fight a battle against the evil in this world, he is coming, revival is coming it has already started! America and Israel will be saved, we are not going down! God’s revelations will increase, and many will be saved, healed, filled, and called to ministry. Eph. 6:10 Finally, brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
God reveals himself in so many ways, but His purpose is the same, save souls to His Kingdom and prepare for the coming of Christ! To reveal his love, and precious gospel of Christ Crucified. Let me end with his command…
Acts 2:38 The Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Whether you call it special revelation or general revelation or progressive revelation, God is not hard to find! In fact, I believe he finds us! To His glory and love, I will always serve him!
